12 7 2014 Saturday – The besieged Gaza Strip have witnessed further crimes of the Israeli occupation on the fifth day of attacks, which targeted citizens' houses committing one massacre after another killing entire families; their latest crime was the massacre committed against "Al Batsh" family, which led to the death of 18 people, including women and children, who died after the bombing of their house without a warning. They reached the hospital as burned body parts. More than 35 people were also injured because they were in the area after the end of Al Taraweeh prayer in the mosque near to the family's house, some of the injuries are in critical condition, including children.

Israeli occupation proves its failure to destroy the resistance in the besieged Gaza, in bombing more citizens' houses, targeting civilian installations, and in escalating in the killing of women, children and special needs citizens.
According Euro-Mediterranean Observatory report there have been a continuous increase in targeting civilian installations in the besieged Gaza Strip in the fifth day of the attack, the twelfth of July; Israeli warplanes targeted Mercy Association for disabled people, in Beit Lahia in the northern Gaza Strip, with F-16 missiles, which led to the death of three girls and wounding nannies. Before Israeli warplanes bombed the Mercy Association, they targeted an Orphans Association, the Islamic National Bank in Khan Younis, and a water well which provides water for more than 20,000 citizens from Al zayton area in Gaza; they also targeted another well and a sewage treatment system, which also lead to the bombing of a car that belongs to Bureij refugee camp municipality resulting in two deaths and a very serious injury. They also targeted power lines in Gaza, Rafah and northern Gaza; the electricity grid which is already suffering from a shortage lost 45 MW.
The Observatory report also confirmed that the number of martyrs in the fifth day is 49 martyrs, including 5 children, 8 women and 36 civilian men. This statistics brings the total number of martyrs to 152 deaths, including 34 children, 20 women and 98 civilian men.
The number of wounded citizens on Saturday, the fifth day of the attack alone, is 293 wounded, as their injuries ranged from moderate to minor and serious, including 79 children, 46 women, and 36 civilian men. Bringing the number of casualties since the beginning of the attack to1089 wounded, including 342 children, 171 women, and 576 civilian men.
The observatory report declared that the number of attacks carried out by Israeli forces on Saturday is 416 attacks, including 202 rocket attacks, 127 shells from the Marine Corps, 87 artillery shells, which raises the number of attacks carried out by the Israeli army since the start of the attack on Gaza to 2477 attacks, including1604 missile attacks, 456 shells from the Navy, and 417 artillery shells. Statistics show that on Saturday, 350 houses were destroyed, 52 houses were completely destroyed, and 298 were partially destroyed, and thus increases the number of destroyed houses since the beginning of the attack to 1244 houses, 176 houses were fully destroyed and 1,068 were partially destroyed.
The observatory report also noted that Israeli warplanes targeted ten mosques, three mosques were completely destroyed and seven were partially destroyed, bringing the number of targeted mosques since the beginning of the attack to nineteen mosques, three were completely destroyed and the rest were partially destroyed.
