Tubas hit by massive home demolitions

The Israel forces destroyed today over 40 houses and structures in Tubas, a district in the Jordan Valley of the occupied West Bank. This week dozens of homes have been already destroyed in several locations in Area C, in particular in the Jordan Valley and the rampage is continuing.

They stormed the communities of Al-Farisiya and Khallet al-Khader, demolished seven houses and displacing seven families.

Still today, the Israeli forces were also around Bardala and Ein al-Baida communities, where they demolished 35 structures owned by Palestinians. Some  local and international organizations were carrying out efforts to help Palestinians displaced during the demolitions and to rebuild destroyed structures.

According to UN OCHA, the number of  houses and structures demolished since the beginning of 2016 is now over 150, with an average of 42 per weeks. With the increasing number of house demolitions and displacements, these operations are showing the intensification of ethnic cleansing in the West Bank.
