8 \ 2 \ 2014, This morning, Occupation Forces detained four Popular Resistance activists on Tayaseer barrier, while they were heading to Al Hadedieh area in the northern Jordan Valley. The Israeli army detained Sohail Al Salman, the Committees coordinator of Stop the Wall campaign; as well as detaining the activists Omar Mansour, and Salah al-Khawaja, who was detained for six consecutive hours.

19\1\2014 - In a joint effort with the Stop the JNF campaign, the anti-apartheid Wall Campaign and the Union of Palestinian Farmers planted 113 trees in Al Hamma and Ain Al Beida areas and in the northern Jordan Valley, coinciding with the 113 anniversary of the establishment of the Jewish National Fund.

The Stop the Wall Campaign, the Palestinian Farmers Union, the Land Defense Coalition and Palestinian activists from inside the Green Line organized last Friday a volunteer activity to plant 300 olive trees in the area of Makhrour, in the town of Beit Jala (Bethlehem district). PLO Executive Committee member, Dr. Hanan Ashrawi, praised the recent announcement by Dutch water company, Vitens, to end its cooperation with Israel’s national water company, Mekorot, calling it a “necessary and moral decision”.

Mekorot is responsible for a number of violations of international law within the occupied State of Palestine. This includes the pillage of shared water resources and the denial of Palestinian access to their own water resources, in order to sustain Israel’s illegal settlements.

 

With the passing away of Nelson Mandela, South Africa has lost a truly inspirational leader of their struggle against apartheid. The world has lost a symbol of the human quest for justice and equality. Palestine has lost a comrade in the struggle that never forgot the natural bond between two people fighting apartheid.

The Israeli forces demolished a house under struction at dawn on Thursday, in Deir Balout village in Salfeet district. Rezek Abu Naser the coordinator of Stop the Wall in the district has reported that the house belongs to Ghanem Abd Allah, and has an area of 130 meters.
