Demonstrations, protests and tree planting occurred across historic Palestine on March 30, as Palestinians commemorated Land Day. The Popular Committees, in cooperation with municipalities and other organizations, planned activities in a number of villages and cities. The growing momentum and support of the boycott movement among Palestinians is becoming more tangible, a result of the grassroots organizing that has been undertaken throughout the West Bank.

Above: In the village of Jayyous in the Qalqilya district, villagers planted olive trees near the Wall. Soldiers attacked the gathering, leading to clashes that lasted until the evening. One young man was shot at close range with several rubber bullets and rushed to the hospital in Qalqilya city.
