UN OCHA in the occupied Palestinian territories have developed the 'Vulnerability Profile Project (VPP)'. According to OCHA it is 'a tool designed to visualize/map humanitarian indicators in an interactive-web based platform'.
UN OCHA has published a detailed map on the Bdouin communities in the Palestinian hills east of Jerusalem that are currently resisting increasing threats of displacement by Israel. The communities are being ethnically cleansed in order to make place for the expansion of the illegal Israeli settlement project E1.
Cars with Palestinian license plates are not allowed on Israeli roads, regardless of the identification held by the driver. Even on Palestinian roads, cars with Palestinian plates have restricted access, face endless delays at checkpoints and are subject to regular road blocks. Cars with Israeli plates experience none of these difficulties.
Since Israel's establishment in 1948, its occupation of Jerusalem in June 1967, and subsequent annexation of the city in 1980, it has implemented policies that have shrunk the size of Occupied Jerusalem's Palestinian population as well as its Arab and Islamic heritage. The Apartheid Wall is almost completed in Jerusalem, snaking around Palestinian communities and shutting them out of the city. Settlements expand and new colonies emerge on the Palestinian lands left isolated behind the Wall. A railway project seeks to integrate the illegal settlements into the city.
The New "Disengagement Plan" Map shows the completed sections of the Apartheid Wall in the northern West Bank (in black) and the remaining planned sections in blue. The Occupation’s first phase of the Wall in the northern West Bank, from Zububa village in the Jenin district to Masha village in the south of the Qalqiliya district, resulted in 51 villages losing most of their agricultural lands behind the Wall. In villages like Jayyus in Qalqilya and Qaffin in Tulkarem, the Wall annexed some of the most fertile lands in the West Bank, leaving Palestinians with nothing.
A spider network of settler roads, bridges and tunnels continue to surround Palestinians villages and towns further ghettoizing them. The Occupation Forces have begun constructing 24 tunnels for Palestinian use while they remain barred from settler-only roads. Such roads, and the obligatory security zones which accompany them, separate Palestinians from their lands, isolating villages and towns from each other. Six tunnels are already completed, the rest under construction or pending.
The Wall around Bethlehem is in actuality part of the so–called “Jerusalem envelope” that starts from the settlement of Bet Horon to the northwest of Jerusalem city all the way to Kfar Etzion settlement in the very south of the Bethlehem District. This section of the Wall will:

But it is this current situation on the ground that will, if it is not stopped in time, more effectively shape the future for the Palestinian people than any electoral process ever could.
This new map shows the devastating path of the Apartheid Wall through the Ar Ram area, which is currently the Palestinian gateway between Jerusalem and Ramallah. Though construction first began in the area last February, the recent days have marked a heightened urgency in resistance to the Wall’s construction in this area, as Occupation Forces have been quickly pulling up roads, blocking access and tightening their grip on Ar Ram.
