Stop Israeli Apartheid and Occupation! NOW!

List of Planned Activities for the International Week Against the Apartheid Wall, November 9-16
Updated November 11

The 9th – 16th& of November 2004 marks the 2nd International Week against the Apartheid Wall called for by the Palestinian Anti-Apartheid Wall Campaign and since then endorsed by various movements, groups, networks, and international civil society conferences.

The call to tear down the Wall, return lands stolen, and compensate for the massive losses already incurred by Palestinians throughout the Occupied West Bank is at the core of the Campaign’s struggle against Israeli Occupation and Apartheid.

We call on you to join in this struggle to put words into action, to make rhetoric into reality for the Palestinian people in their struggle for Freedom and Justice amidst the Israeli plans of bantustanization and expulsion.

                      >  Participate in the 2nd International Week against the Apartheid                       Wall and organize in your area or through your group or movement                       to give momentum to the call to Stop the Apartheid Wall!

                      >  Start and strengthen existing boycott, divestment and sanctions                       campaigns to mount pressure on your government and Israeli                       Apartheid: Drive Apartheid out of history!

                      >  Please, contact mobilize@stopthewall.org and keep us updated                       about your plans of mobilization and your protests and initiatives                       during this week and beyond! It is important to give the                       widespread local activism strength through coordination and to let                       the world know about the global resistance against this further crime                       against the Palestinian people.

The Coalition Against the Deportation of Palestinian Refugees is organizing a protest against the deportation order against Osama Saleh, a stateless Palestinian refugee facing deportation to Tulkarem region, in the occupied West Bank. Osama’s Federal Court hearing takes place within the context of an international week of action against the ongoing construction of Israel’s Apartheid Wall throughout the West Bank. Osama, like all Palestinians in the West Bank, is directly affected by the Apartheid Wall. Through the construction of this wall, Osama’s village of Beit Lid, along with all the surrounding villages in the area, has been isolated and cut off from the city of Tulkarem, and therefore from their basic social infrastructure, their health-clinics, their schools, and the local economy of the area. The Coalition Against the Deportation of Palestinian Refugees calls for solidarity with the protest that wants to set a precedent in stopping the deportation of Palestinian refugees, to highlight the situation and the demands of all Palestinian refugees, and to tear down the Apartheid Wall.
