***image2***Palestine Forum in Osaka, Japan has hosted yet another powerful event in solidarity with Palestinian resistance to the Israeli Apartheid Wall. On December 6 and 7, organizers established a street stall at “Kyobashi Com’s Garden”, one of the biggest shopping centers in the city. At the booth, a documentary video on the struggle in Palestine was shown, photographs and maps of the Wall were displayed and informational flyers were distributed with protest postcards attached. The postcards were addressed to Ariel Sharon and called for an immediate end to the Apartheid Wall and the Israeli Occupation of Palestine. Passers-by were also encouraged to enjoy Arabic tea at the booth and were able to purchase Palestinian embroidery, postcards, books, CDs, and other resources in solidarity with Palestine. The event was organized as a part of an official (municipal) event associated with “Human Rights Week”.
