On the 10th of November 2004, as part of the 2nd International Week against the Apartheid Wall, the Solidarity for Palestinian Human Rights in Montreal, Canada, hosted Andrew Courtney (a freelance photographer that has visited Palestine over the course of 17 years) and Emily Perry, in McGill University, where they screened the film they had produced in their last trip to occupied Palestine in spring 2004.
The film, entitled “The Israeli Wall in Palestinian Lands” was shown for the first time in Canada and gave the opportunity to Canadians to witness the weighing effect of the Israeli occupation on the Palestinian people, concretized here by the construction of the Apartheid Wall.
By meeting with 7 ordinary people whose lives have been directly affected and from different cities in occupied West Bank, the directors succeeded in explaining to the audience the bantustanization in Palestine, Israeli Apartheid and Occupation.
