On Monday Israeli bulldozers demolished a car showroom in the neighborhood of Sheikh Jarrah in the center of occupied Jerusalem. The owner of the car showroom told WAFA that the Israeli police informed him of the impending demolition at six in the morning, they then cordoned off the area and prevented anyone from approaching until the demolition was over. He also added that “the occupation said they demolished the showroom due to lack of a license”.
Also on Monday morning bulldozers demolished five commercial enterprises in the village of Eastern Barta’a (Eastern Barta’a is in the West Bank near Jenin and Western Barta’a is in the Haifa district of “Israel”) and sent several citizens in the industrial zone demolition notifications due to ‘lack of license’. This came after a large group of occupation forces raided the village, supported by bulldozers, and having closed in from all sides they declared the area a military zone and began to destroy various business establishments. More demolition notifications have also been delivered in preparation for the destruction of other facilities in the area.
On the same day in Hebron, Israeli forces leveled more than four acres of land planted with summer crops, near the ‘Kharsina’ settlement to the east of the city. They also pulled out and damaged the plastic irrigation pipes that feed this land with the aim of destroying crops in the region.
