The Occupation warned six families from Midiyye village, west of Ramallah, to quickly vacate their homes, ostensibly for preparations to demolish them with the excuse that the buildings are not licensed.
***image2***The housing is located in the western ghetto, where the Apartheid Wall cuts off the village from three sides, leaving them with only one exit from the eastern side. Most of the housing structures in question are composed of two or three floors with an approximate total of 70 residents who will be rendered homeless if the decision to destroy them is implemented.
This order serves a Zionist plan of organization working with the wall to isolate Palestinians, demolish their homes, suffocate them, and thus forcing them to emigrate from their homes into limited locations. Not less than 4,656 residences are under demolition order in the West Bank.
Additionally, it should be remembered that the Occupation Authority finished construction of the Apartheid Wall in Midiyye in 2005, isolating 2000 dunam of village lands behind it.
