***image2***In Qalqiliya Open al Quds University, the students council has organized a two day exhibit on the Apartheid Wall, inviting students and professors to look at the images and participate in the PowerPoint presentations.
For many students in Qalqiliya Open al Quds University this was the first time they saw depictions of other parts of the Wall, in Bethlehem or Jerusalem for example. Restrictions of movement â particularly strangulating for Palestinian students â make travel from the northern ghettos to the central southern ghettoes y arduous and expensive.
The PowerPoint presentations, information material and explanations provided by the Campaign youth coordinator and other students that participated in the seminars on the Wall organized by the Campaign helped viewers of the exhibition to understand the impact and political background of the Wall as one of Zionismâs core projects.
***image3***The exhibit room wa stransformed for two days into a space for discussion and analysis not only of the reality on the ground but also on ways forward for the student struggle as part of the national liberation movement.
The next venues for the exhibit will be Tulkarem and Jericho Open al Quds Universities, before it moves to other campuses all over the West Bank.
