The Occupation forces arrest a Palestinian student during Nabi Saleh’s

Israeli occupation forces arrested a young University
of Abu-Dis student during an anti-Apartheid Wall protest in the village of Nabi Saleh. The occupation forces beat the student and pushed his face into the Wall, causing him to immediately lose consciousness. The village women tried to intervene and stop the occupation forces but the student was taken at gunpoint.

This incident happened during Nabi Saleh’s weekly protest, which moved from the center of the town towards the area of the Wall after the Friday noon prayers. The Israeli occupation forces fired rubber bullets and tear gas at the protestors to prevent them from reaching the confiscated lands behind the Wall.

In addition to resisting the construction of the Wall, The demonstration was protesting the notices that Israeli occupation forces handed out to ten families ordering the evacuation of their homes in Nabi Saleh. The occupation forces stated that these families did not have licenses despite the fact that these homes were built over 50 years ago. The homes will now be demolished.
