Settlers uproot trees while Israel plans 558 new housing units in Jerusalem

5 2 2014, a group of "Itamar" settlement settlers, uprooted more than 200 olive trees, purported to be150 years old or older, which cover an area of 50 acres, and belongs to the citizen Ezat Moawia from Yanoun town, Aqarba municipality, south of Nablus. As the settlement explanation in the occupied territories continues, the occupation municipality agreed on a plan to build 558 settlement units in east Jerusalem. The pace of settlement expansion has not experienced any slowdown since the beginning of negotiations between the Palestinian and Israeli sides under U.S. supervision. And there was a clear insistence by the Israeli government to continue settlement expansion, along with the continuation of settler's attacks on Palestinian citizens, their land and property.
