On Friday, the IOF repressed the weekly protest in the village of Nabi Saleh with batons and tear gas canisters closing off the entrance to the village to prevent demonstrators from escape.
The weekly protest begun at Martyrsâ square and proceeded towards the land owned by villagers before being confiscated. Residents of Nabi Saleh and dozens of international solidarity activists took part in the action.
Demonstrators denounced the occupation and the policies of land expropriation. They also reminded the international community of the necessity of urgent intervention to protect the Palestinian people.
The clashes in the village lasted a few hours.
