Settlers Burn Land, 60 Trees in Marda

On August 9, Occupation settlers burnt and destroyed lands and 60 trees in Marda village, in the Salfit District. The following pictures show the devastation caused by the settlers.

Marda has already lost large amounts of land to Ariel settlement (the largest settlement in the northern West Bank with nearly 20,000 settlers) as well as from the settler bypass road 60, which divides many of Marda’s lands from the people. Marda is also threatened by the Apartheid Wall, which, if completed in the area will confiscate large amounts of land and destroy a great portion of Marda’s cultivated lands.
