Who Campaigns to Hold GHF Accountable?

In May, TRIAL International, a Swiss NGO, filed legal complaints urging Swiss authorities to investigate whether GHF violated Swiss and international law, as their militarized “aid” model is a central element in Israel’s genocide and ethnic cleansing of Gaza. Swiss authorities then launched proceedings to dissolve the Geneva branch of GHF, citing, among others, the lack of board members, a Swiss bank account, and a postal address. On August 15, Swiss courts issued the decision to dissolve and remove the GHF from the commercial register. On September 15, the deadline for appeals ended, apparently without any intervention from GHF.
On June 10, The Center for Constitutional Rights (CCR) notified GHF in a letter to Johnie More, Executive Chairman, of its potential legal liability for complicity in Israel’s war crimes, crimes against humanity, and genocide against Palestinians. On August 5, CCR wrote a letter to Kathy Jennings, the Delaware Attorney General, to demand that she investigate GHF and seek to revoke its charter. On August 20, CCR filed a lawsuit seeking records from the Trump administration on its funding for the private US outfit currently in charge of distributing aid to Palestinians in Gaza.
