Weekly anti-Wall Protest Update

The weekly anti-Wall protests took place across the West Bank, with an escalation of repression by the Occupation Forces during the annual olive harvest.

In al Nabi Saleh 15 protesters were injured and the houses of Abd al Wahab al Tamimi, Hamza al Tamimiand Abd al Razeq al Tamimiwere were burned by tear gas and sound bombs fired by the Occupation Forces. Two students from Birzeit University, Zaid al Shoaybi and Fadi Quraan, were detained.

In Bil'in an 8 year old girl, Lama Abdullah abu Rahma, suffered tear gas asphyxiation and Mohammad al Khateeb and Ahmad Burnat, both 17 years old, were injured in the leg by tear gas bombs.

In al Ma'asara a French activist, 65 years old, was injured in the head by a tear gas bomb.

In Hebron, sewage water was used against the communities taking part in the Saturday protest in Hebron city. In Beit Ummar, Allam al zaakek, 16 years old, Muhannad Awad, 18 years old and Bilal Issa Abu Hashem 18 years old were arrested during the Saturday protest. The houses of grassroots committee members Ahmed Khalil abu Hashem and Musa abu Maria were also attacked and the IOF ordered Ahmed Khalil to be interrogated by the Israeli intelligence officials for the 8th time this year.
