Land Day – March 30 is a Day of Resistance

On March 30, we commemorate Palestinian Land Day, which marks the Israeli crimes of 1976. Each year, on this day, Palestinians reaffirm their commitment to resisting Israel’s policies of occupation, apartheid, and settler colonialism.

Today marks Palestinian Land Day, a day of remembrance and resistance against the ongoing Israeli settler colonization of Palestinian land. On March 30, 1976, Israeli forces killed six Palestinians protesting the expropriation of their land. #PalestinianLandDay

Since 1948, apartheid Israel has been expropriating Palestinian land. Palestinians are still facing displacement, home demolitions, and land confiscation. #FreePalestine #EndIsraeliApartheid

Palestinian Land Day is a reminder that the struggle for justice and freedom is ongoing. We, the Palestinian people, are rightfully resisting. Join us in our struggle to reclaim our rights to our land, homes, and freedom.

On this Palestinian Land Day, we honor the memory of the martyrs Israel killed, and those Israel injured while fighting for their land rights. We also acknowledge the resilience and strength of the Palestinian people, who continue to resist against all odds.

Today, Palestinians are still resisting countless crimes.

During this month alone, Apartheid Israel:

  • Killed 23 Palestinians.
  • Injured 276 Palestinians
  • Demolished 38 Palestinian structures, displacing 77 Palestinians.
  • Displaced two families due to settlement expansion.
  • Carried out 124 military search and arrest operations in the West Bank
  • Protected 38 attacks by Israeli settlers
  • Carried out 8 military incursions into Gaza

We call on the international community to support the Palestinian struggle for self-determination and hold Israel accountable for its continued violations of human rights and international law. The right to land and freedom is a universal human right.
