On Christmas Eve, several hundred people protested against the Wall al Walaja. Located next to Bethlehem, the small village is struggling to halt the recently renewed construction of the Wall. If completed, the village will be encircled on all sides. Residents living near the path of the Wall have faced harassment by Occupation soldiers, and local activists who have tried to stop bulldozers have been beaten and arrested.
