Demonstrating on “Both Sides” of the Wall in Tulkarem

As part of the Anti-Apartheid Wall Campaignâs week of activities against the Wall, beginning on November 9th, more than 1,000 people from the Tulkarem area demonstration against the Wall on Thursday the 13th. During this demonstration a main crowd marched from Tulkarem city towards the isolated village Baqa ash Sharqiyya where a similar crowd of demonstrators was marching to the Wall. These photos capture the march from âboth sidesâ of the Wall and the Israeli assaults that followed.
